Needed.....

We are still contemplating our options for child care for Keeley. We have interviewed a couple people, actually only two, but we really feel that we need more comparison. So here is what we are looking for , our wish list so to say.

We really need someone to start May 4th. And someone to take on the 29th and 30th of April.

We really need some one who will be available between 7-730 in the morning and 5-530 in the afternoon mon thru friday with most fridays off. the times will very depending upon location.

We can only afford $400 per month.

We perfer in home care, ours or yours.

We really want Keeley to be exposed to other children, but perefably no more than 4 (3 +Keeley).

Any stay at home mom who could use a little bit of extra income would be great!

If you or someone you are willing to vouch for are interested, I can be reached at 253-273-9793.

If you cannot, please pray that we will find someone!

My little Fan!!

My friend Keren did these "twilight" themed photos for me of Keeley. They are just so great! Love them!!

5 monthes and 1week!

So I know this post is a little old but Keeley turned 5 monthes on April 15th! She is getting to be such a big girl! She talks up a storm and I think some is singing! She loves being sang to especially her ABC's which I sign to her, and Itsy Bitsy Spider. She is in love with touching everything. Shes love to grab on to our faces and tries to rip them off! She roles over on to her side from her back, but I have yet to get her to roll over from her tummy (she is almost there!) She no longer sleeps with the positioner on her wedge and often will sleep on her side (and talks in her sleep!) She is so much fun and loves to smile! Here are some pics from her Easter shots!

Why we celebrate Easter!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead!

1 Peter 1:3

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

Much needed update!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, so much has been going on.

Keeley had her 4 month well child check up on Thursday. She was 15 lbs and 25 inches. That is 75% in both categories.

Mollie came to visit last week. We had a great time. We did the touristy thing and went to the waterfront/Point Defiance Park, took a day trip to the ocean, and went to Seattle. We did the Seattle Underground tour for the first time, and it is so awesome! Seattle has a great and rich history. Then we went to Ivor's on the wharf to eat. Very Yummy! We had a great time, I miss her so much. I kept trying to talk her into moving here. But things are not always the way I want them to be :(

Last Friday Cris was laid off from his job (for those of you who don't read Sam's blog). He'll be getting unemployment, that will help us pay our house payment. And my job will pay for all the other expenses. Then we have some saving we can use if we need to, so we will be ok for a while. We just won't be able to do all the fun stuff. Cris is in the union so we get to keep the medical until May 31st . That'll help quite a bit too. But he is actively seeking a job that will pay about the same and we of course hope to get something before all our resources are exhausted. So we ask that you pray for us in that.

Finally, our dear nanny Sammy will be leaving us at the end of April. She will be going to Ireland to vacation with Tom, then straight to her Annual Training , and then to California to do her language training. So we will be looking for child care. If you know anybody who could use a little extra income, let me know. We prefer in home (stay at home moms are great!) and someone we know, but we are open to other options.

We just ask that you keep us in your prayers and hearts. We know that God's will is perfect and he will provide what we need.
